Jakob and Matthias Weger are multisport athletes and adventure filmmakers from South Tyrol, Italy.

Both brothers began their athletic careers in competitive kayaking, achieving success at the international level. Jakob became U23 World Champion in kayak slalom, while Matthias won three consecutive European Championship titles in extreme kayaking.

Following their competitive careers, they shifted their focus to alpine sports and expeditions. Today, they combine steep skiing, freeride snowboarding, paragliding, mountaineering and whitewater kayaking, often bringing several disciplines together in a single adventure.

Their projects have taken them from the European Alps to remote regions of Norway, Pakistan and beyond, where they have completed challenging descents and explored new terrain.

Alongside their athletic careers, the brothers produce adventure films and documentaries, including their own series Alpine Worlds. They are four-time winners of the GoPro Million Dollar Challenge, and their productions have been featured at international film festivals, in cinemas and on television.

Through their work, Jakob and Matthias combine high-level athletic performance with a strong focus on exploration, filmmaking and authentic storytelling.
